This time last year I was getting my ‘professional’ wardrobe in order for my first office job, as part of the Catalyst Team. I had just graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in English Literature and Theatre studies – and I wondered how I would adapt my knowledge for my new role. I felt welcomed and challenged from the very first day. I have worked on a variety of projects for a wide scope of businesses – and they have each taught me something unique.

A year on, I have stepped into the role of Catalyst Project Manager, and I await the new team of graduates and placement students who I will support by mentoring and overseeing their delivery of projects for clients.

I have been so proud to be a part of Catalyst Team 7, and I will be sad to see them go, yet excited to see what great things they all achieve. I am equally excited to continue supporting our network of businesses with the incoming Team 8. Catalyst hires students based on character and drive, rather than business experience or degree. This always makes the team incredibly diverse, particularly in terms of interests and skillset. I believe this works incredibly well in relation to the wide variety of SMEs and scaling businesses that we provide support to.

Whether you require support with digital marketing, customer engagement, content creation, event support, sales or project management; Catalyst is the most flexible and risk-free way to receive support.
