Tell me a bit about your company.

Brand Communications provides a one stop shop for listed and pre-IPO companies to reach the large retail and institutional investor base that we engage with via our multiple social media channels, podcasts and interviews.

How has your company been affected by COVID-19, and how is that situation now?

In many ways Brand Communications came of age during COVID, as companies seeking to reach an investor audience had to engage online rather than via the more traditional seminar and interview route.

What has been your biggest challenge so far? 

Sourcing staff to assist with our expansion. The Catalyst team have been instrumental in this regard.

What could someone in another sector learn from how you have approached the challenges you faced during covid?

That through adversity and the restrictions bought about by COVID comes opportunity.

What has been your biggest success to date? 

Brand Communications are now being approached by brokers seeking to raise money for clients having heard of, or having seen our activities and the subsequent impact on the company(‘s) share price.

What are your plans for the future?

Brand Communications will continue to expand – we may move back into the Centre so we can run an admin team centrally rather than remotely as at present.

How did you hear about Sussex Innovation, and why did you decide to join Sussex Innovation? 

We came to the Centre over 20 years ago when I launched ShareCrazy, an online financial bulletin board and share trading platform.
