Job summary
The post-holder will report to the CEO and will assist in client interactions, managing trade mark registration filings, opposition filings and opposition defences. You may also contribute to new business development for the business, and proactively identify ways to secure new clients and attend trade shows or events where needed and useful to raise and boost the image of the company and as such secure clients for the company.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the post are:
- To carry out consultation with prospective clients who are looking to secure their brand through trade mark registration.
- To lead, organise, report and plan information and workloads on behalf of the company and also to monitor the contact form to make sure people are being dealt with promptly.
- To file trade mark registrations for clients of the company and also manage the process from inception to conclusion.
- To support the day-to-day functioning of the business including dealing with admin tasks, email responses to clients who have queries.
- Lead or co-lead webinars to prospective groups of customers or partners.
Person specification
You will need to have the skills to:
- Understand and appreciate complex information and be able to summarise this effectively for a non-technical audience.
- Work effectively with a wide-range of different stakeholders, building relationships and collaborating where appropriate to achieve desired outcomes.
- Be flexible in your approach to be able to carry out a variety of tasks all at the same time.
- Work under pressure and maintain your performance levels and have a high degree of personal resilience.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working pattern: Full-time (4 days in the office, 1 day from home)
Working hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Salary: Up to £27,000 based on experience
Location: Plus X, Brighton (STC)
