How to start a cult: be bold, build belonging and grow a devoted following

Brand loyalty is dead. Any business still relying on the outdated idea that customers stay loyal in the face of ever-increasing competition and choice is in trouble. With consumer behaviour shifting, basing your customer relationship on the traditional pillars of price, convenience and service leaves you open to constant fear of disruption or, worse, irrelevance.

There is a better way. The way of The Cult.

By building a cult following on the immovable foundations of belonging and identity, businesses and brands can stand out, inspire action and say “bye bye” to competition once and for all.

In this early evening Thought Leadership masterclass, author, podcaster and brand strategist Jody Raynsford will share his 7 Cult Commandments, the basis upon which anyone can build a cult brand that inspires the kind of devotion others only dream about. He will take you on a captivating journey through the steps to become a leader of your own cult – with stories from some well-known and less well-known brands and his own experience as an accidental cult leader.

Whether you’re serious about starting your own cult or simply want to discover a new perspective on building a following or a brand, you will leave the masterclass feeling challenged, inspired and with a practical blueprint to follow (should you choose to take the cult path…)

Join us at 4:00pm for pre-event drinks and nibbles at Projects The Lanes. The talk runs from 4:30pm – 5:30pm after which you can depart with a head full of ideas and inspiration or stick around for drinks and network with like-minded business leaders.
