Are you wondering how you can ensure that your communications are inclusive? Mo can help you with getting your communications right.

Inclusive communication is crucial for your business to make sure you reach different types of people, engage them and appeal to them. Inclusive communication affects your marketing, recruitment, partner relationships and employee engagement. Everyone is different, and we need to think about how to be inclusive to include a diverse range of people.

Book a free 45 minute online 121 session with Mo Kanjilal, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, for an initial conversation about diversity and inclusion.

Choose from a selection of dates and times to suit you. Once you’ve registered, we’ll pass on your details (name and email address) to Mo, who will contact you with joining instructions for your online session with her.

Expert biography

Mo has over 20 years’ experience at senior management level at PLCs, smaller companies and start-ups. She has led many diversity and inclusion change programs, and employee engagement programs. Mo is an NLP Master Practitioner, conference speaker and writer. And she is a Non-Exec Director and Charity Trustee leading on diversity and inclusion. She is one of the Co-Creators of Watch This Sp_ce, a diversity and inclusion communications company.

This session will be held online. Once you’ve registered, you will receive the video call joining instructions from the business expert prior to your session.

Following the session, the expert will send you a feedback form which we would be grateful if you could complete to allow us to monitor the success of our offered expert 121s.

Important

All our expert one-to-one meetings on offer are free, but places are limited as our business expert partners are giving their valuable time to the BIPC and to you for free while fitting these sessions into their busy schedule. Therefore, if you need to cancel the session, to give a chance for others to still book it, please give at least two working days’ notice when possible via:

  • email to bipc@brighton-hove.gov.uk, or
  • cancelling your booking on Eventbrite, or
  • email/call to the business expert.

Please note down the experts’ contact details when they get in touch with you prior to the session.

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited – especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing bipc@brighton-hove.co.uk.

Can I attend if I’m not a member of the library?

Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library as it’s free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
