The ‘Write on’ Breakfast
It’s been said that everyone has a book in them – but few ever manage to sit down and write it. A perishingly small number of those actually hit the big time.
Our November breakfast speaker Catherine Gray falls happily into the latter category. A Sunday Times Bestselling author, she’s sold half a million books in English-speaking territories alone and they’ve been translated into 10 languages.
Catherine has published four non-fiction books (The Unexpected Joy of series) and one novel, Versions of a Girl. With a background in journalism, she has been a guest columnist at Grazia and been published everywhere from The Guardian to Stylist.
At November’s breakfast, we’ll be doing a conversational Q&A with Catherine about her journey to becoming a published author and the experiences she’s gone through which she’s written about. She’ll talk about how you learn to really understand yourself, the way people label you when write about certain subjects, and the shock of having a public audience that give their opinions on your life choices.
So see you in November – write it in your diary now!
