This is a practical session where we will work together to build the aspects that need to be included within your own plan. We will work step by step through a mixture of interactive discussion and exercises, so it is expected that you already have undertaken some elements of planning into your business concept and the marketplace in which you operate.
You will start by applying the all-important growth mindset, identifying your why, your goals and objectives. Please do come prepared to discuss openly within the group as the more you contribute the more you will take away from the session.

Ian is the Founder of Newboldology Ltd and as a Business Growth Mentor he specialises in providing personal and friendly mentoring, action planning and marketing guidance for start-ups and micro business owners. As a former Commercial Director in the travel industry, Ian has a wealth of experience in corporate growth. He’s managed large teams, delivered business strategies and taken control of financial performance. Ian is an expert at getting to grips with strategy and loves nothing more than helping clients unlock the potential in their businesses and setting them on a clear path towards growth.
This workshop is held at the Business & IP Centre (BIPC) on the upper floor at Jubilee Library Brighton. Please arrive 10-15 mins earlier so that we can start the session on time.
Following the event, the BIPC will send you a feedback form which we would be grateful if you could complete to allow us to monitor the success of our events.

What is your cancellation policy?
The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited – especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing bipc@brighton-hove.co.uk.
Can I attend if I’m not a member of the library?
Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library as it’s free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
